Music and Choir
The PUUF Choir
Music is an integral part of the Unitarian Universalist (UU) worship service. Raising our voices together in song lifts our spirits, opens our hearts, and fosters a sense of
community. The PUUF Choir, under the direction of Julia and Elias Hesse, meets every Sunday before service at 10:30 AM (10:15 for extra ear training) in the
Presbyterian Fellowship Hall. We rehearse hymns for that Sunday’s service, and work on preparing for the twice annual Choir Music Services, presented each winter
and spring. We invite anyone interested to join us. No prior experience is necessary, just the desire to sing together.
Our Pianist
Jennifer Goodenberger – Jennifer is a local artist of various disciplines who provides accompaniment to the choir and complements our services with a meditative interlude which prepares us to receive the message from the main speaker. A brief biography will be posted when it’s available.
