This week’s service will feature Laura Gordon as the speaker. “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope”. These words from MLK remind us that despite a first, second and third Reconstruction, each followed by its own backlash, we are inching towards a multiracial democracy that can be something greater than what our founders envisioned.

We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.

 

Religious Education for Children will occur during the regular service.
