Seth Tichenor  – “Conversing About Conversation”

Seth Tichenor is a Native Oregonian, former All-American swimmer, and lives in Astoria with his partner Gad.  He’s been a professor of philosophy for 23 years and teaches at Clatsop Community College where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2015.  Many of us have enjoyed his lectures/discussions at Ft. George’s “Ales and Ideas”.  Seth’s passion is the Philosopharian Project, an effort to bring philosophy into the lives of everyday people.

Seth is going to talk about how to converse with people you don’t agree with, an important skill in our world of divisive opinions.

Social time after the service will be in the “green room” downstairs.  Religious education for children is available during the services.
