TRASH TALK WINDOWS PROJECT On this post-Thanksgiving Sunday, Pooka Rice, of the Haystack Rock Awareness Program, will offer all PUUFers a chance to make art out of (clean) marine debris. Pooka will talk about the need to clean up our oceans and show us how to make something beautiful from the trash.
Using recycled window panes in frames (a gift to HRAP from City Councilor Cindy Price), the smaller children will decorate a window while the adults and older kids will decorate other windows, all with scenes from our beautiful coast. Wear clothes to make art in and come prepared to learn more about reusing scraps to make something beautiful. AND PLEASE BRING MARINE DEBRIS TO CONTRIBUTE, IF YOU CAN! ESPECIALLY GREEN! Pooka will also tell us about an idea she has for scrap recycling in our area that we may be able to help with.
We hope to be able to display our new art work in the halls of the PAC! Come and enjoy this all-ages Sunday service on Nov. 25, 11 a.m.
There will be coffee and social time downstairs at the PAC following the service. The regular PUUF Board of Directors meeting will follow the social hour.
