This week’s topic is “An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure” – Amy Baker, Executive Director of Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare
Amy believes that we should be spending more of our time and resources on preventing mental illness instead of trying to treat it after the fact. Her presentation will stimulate lots of questions and discussion about addressing mental health issues.
Amy has served as the Executive Director at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare since 2016. Prior to CBH, she was the Children’s Mental Health Director for the State of Oregon. She has also served as the Senior Director of Outpatient Services for Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare, and Director of Child and Family Services for Multnomah County.
Social time after the service will be in the “green room” downstairs. Religious education for children is available during the services.
