“Homelessness: Are There Solutions?”  Cities and towns across the nation are dealing with a rise in homelessness.  What’s causing the uptick, what can we do to help them, and how do we balance the rights of the homeless with those of property owners?  Astoria Mayor Arline LaMear, Astoria Police Chief Geoff Spalding and Clatsop Community Action Director Elaine Bruce will discuss what’s being done here in Astoria and what we’ve learned through the year of meetings of the Homelessness Solutions Task Force (HOST).

As always, there will be Religious Education for the children following the “Moment with the Children” near the beginning of the service. And there will be coffee and social time downstairs at the PAC following the service.
