In a poem about hiking the Camino de Santiago, the famous pilgrimage route in Spain, poet David Whyte writes, “Pilgrim they called you…remember you needed no other name.” This Sunday we’ll explore what it would mean if we had the courage to embrace the pilgrim identity for ourselves and for those who journey alongside us. Guest preacher Danielle Garrett, intern minister at Portland First Unitarian Church, will share how lessons she has learned while hiking pilgrimage trails can help us live out our UU values in our everyday life.
