How to Help Our Immigrant Community

We are all concerned about our immigrants but don’t necessarily know how to help. Norma Hernandez, the Deputy Director of Consejo Hispano, will be here to help us find some answers. Norma was the first executive director of Consejo Hispano from 2008-2012, then worked for several years as the WIC Coordinator for Clatsop County Public Health before returning to Consejo Hispano in February of this year. Consejo Hispano is a nonprofit organization that serves the Lantinx community in Clatsop, Tillamook, and Columbia Counties in Oregon as well as Pacific County in Washington.

We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.

Religious Education for Children will occur during the regular service.

Send an email to Puufreligioused@Pacuuf.org for more information.

Join us for Coffee Hour after the service in Fellowship Hall!
