Ian Kepler
Buddhism is the world’s fourth largest religion, but it is also a philosophical tradition based on teachings attributed to the Buddha. The Buddha taught that attachment causes suffering, and that there is a Middle Way to awakening. The path to full liberation employs meditation practices and ethical precepts rooted in non-harming.
Ian Kepler is a social worker and therapist with ten years of meditation experience in the Zen Buddhist tradition. He was a resident at Great Vow Zen Monastery for two years and also has experience leading meditation for people in recovery. He leads the weekly PUUF meditation group and is married to Rev. Mira Kepler.
