Wednesday, June 22, 2022

  • Orientation / Networking / Caucusing 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
    Learn how GA works, how to connect with others, and how to make the most of your GA experience. This is also a time when the myriad of communities within Unitarian Universalism can network, meet up, and/or caucus.
  • Banner Parade / General Session / Opening Celebration 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
    GA officially begins with a joyful, worshipful opening celebration with inspirational music and speakers. The opening celebration sets the tone for the days ahead. The Opening Celebration will include a procession of banners from hundreds of UU congregations and organizations. We will also gavel in the General Assembly.

  • Morning Programming and Worship 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM
  • General Session  9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
    Co-moderators Rev. Meg Riley and Charles Du Mond preside over the general sessions in which the business of the Association is conducted
  • Live Programming & Featured Speakers 1:45 PM – 3:15 PM
    In addition to many on-demand workshops that will be available to GA registrants, GA 2022 will include many live in-person and live webinar workshops to choose from.
  • Service of the Living Tradition 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
    Led by the The Ministries and Faith Development Staff Group, this service honors fellowshipped and credentialed religious leaders; remembering those who have died, recognizing those who have completed active service, and welcoming those who have received fellowship or credentialed status in the past year. The service includes a collection to benefit the Living Tradition Fund. Live stream is available to the public.
