In his poem, “A Ritual to Read to One Another,” William E. Stafford clarifies why humans must communicate with one another, and to do so well and clearly. Many of us are still struggling with grief and anxiety after both the election of 2016 and COVID 19. In a time of stress how are we listening to and hearing one another?
Reverend Sharon K. Dittmar is Congregational Life Field Staff with the MidAmerica Region of the UUA. Her sermon will be read by lay leader Laura Gordon, along with a short video by Andrea Gibson.

We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person. Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.
Religious Education for Children will occur during the regular service.
