Where We Worship

Humans have long created sacred space for worship. For many devout the place of worship is as important as how to worship. Our churches and mosques and synagogues rest empty all over the world as people struggle to keep the Covid-19 virus from spreading, and I ask, what is the purpose of creating a sacred place of worship?
