The topic for this Monday’s discussion  is: The Evolution of Intelligence and the Prospect of Intelligence Beyond the Solar System.

For the purpose of this discussion we will limit the concept of intelligence to that which uses mathematical methods to design and modify the environment.  In this way we can distinguish our kind of intelligence with that of other species.
