An Invitation to UUA General Assembly 2022

Register Now for In-Person GA 2022!

Registration is now open for in-person attendance. Full-time registration is $475 for adults, and $250 for high school youth and retired and candidate ministers. Financial support for registration, lodging credit within the GA housing block, as well as a payment plan are available. In-person registration rates will increase on March 1 and again on May 1. Registration for virtual participation will open March 1.

GA 2022 Business Update

Multiplatform General Assembly has many benefits. We will be making changes to the business process to make it more inclusive and accessible. This includes reviewing proposed amendments and Actions of Immediate Witness prior to GA, and during GA we’ll use online ballots for voting. Stay tuned for more info from the UUA Board!
NEW THIS YEAR! Business-only virtual registration provides delegates access to the online GA delegate platform for discussion and voting during General Sessions. Payment is not required to participate as a GA Delegate, but a donation to offset production and platform costs is suggested. Business-only registrants will have access to delegate chat rooms, but will not have access to GA programming, the GA app, networking opportunities, or the exhibit hall. GA delegates are strongly encouraged to register as Full Virtual Registrants.
All member congregations are required to complete an annual Certification of Membership report by Friday, February 4, 2022 in order to be certified for General Assembly. Certification will open on January 3. Only certified congregations may send voting delegates to the GA.
General Assembly Delegate credentials are issued by email. Congregations are responsible for assigning credentials to member delegates. Beginning in April, Certified congregations can manage their member delegate assignments online via the Credential Manager. Ministers and religious educators can retrieve their credentials via the Credential Self-Service Portal

  • Opportunities to reimagine and embody our radical and liberating theology
  • Skills to Level Up to meet urgent justice needs of the moment
  • Strengthening our Community of Communities through connections and skill building
The program proposal deadline is Friday, January 14.

Call for GA 2022 Worship Proposals

We are inviting proposals from organizations and worship leaders with experience and capabilities to self-produce a complete, high-quality, 45-minute worship service including music. The worship proposal deadline is Friday, January 14.

Become a GA Volunteer

Each year, General Assembly is made possible by the contributions of hundreds of volunteers who do everything from editing videos to hanging banners. There will be many Volunteer Opportunities for both onsite and offsite participants. Volunteers are eligible to receive a fully funded GA registration.
